These new stainless steel bottle stoppers are made of 304 or "18/8" FDA stainless steel. ("18/8" possessing 18% chromium and 8% nickel combined with 0.08% carbon). This material mixture provides corrosion and oxidation resistance, because of its ability to withstand the corrosive action of various acids found in fruits and vegetables. This is the same 304 stainless steel that is used for utensils, sinks, coffee pots, refrigerators, and flatware to name a few items in the kitchen.

Our custom designed, stainless steel bottle stoppers include 3/8-16" x 5/8" long thread and an overall length of 3 1/2". Combined with FDA EPDM black O-Rings that operate in temperatures from -55 Celsius to +150 Celsius and provide excellent sealing and wear ability for chemical resistance from alcohol or wine. EPDM material is also resistant to breakdown when sitting out in the air as opposed to Ni-tron.

Bottlestoppers are handcrafted to order so may take 7 to 10 days for delivery.
